It has to be said that the only Christian book of the romantic variety that I have ever read was called Mixed Signals by Liz Curtis Higgs. It’s not my general field particuarly so i certainly wouldn’t claim to add any expert critique on the matter, but Mixed Signals was very very ‘goooey’ if you know what I mean, my wife absolutely loved it for this reason. It’s a very thorough tale set in a quaint village in Virginia revolving around a woman who thinks she’s past it and meets a man. . . . falls in love . . . . all living happily every after. . . thats my slightly naieve broad minded view
